Private Lesson - Classic
Our professional and highly credentialed instructors will help you progress on your ski trajectory. Traditional classic skiing uses skis with a grip zone (fish scale pattern, fabric “skin”, or wax zone on a portion of the underside of the ski). Classic tracks that look like two long parallel lines are set by a machine groomer for this technique.
Ages:
Adults and children 8 years and up
We will consider children ages 5-7 years old on an individual basis
Included:
Crosscut day pass
Cost:
$75 for the first person, $50 for each additional person

Private Lesson - Skate
Our professional and highly credentialed instructors will help you progress on your ski trajectory. Skate skiing uses skis that are smooth on the bottom from tip to tail. Unlike classic skis, there is no grip zone on the underside of skate skis. Skate skiers accomplish forward motion by lateral pushing, requiring a much wider groomed trail.
Ages:
Adults and children 8 years and up
Please note: our skate ski rentals can accommodate folks who weigh at least 66 lbs. Children under 66 lbs will need to bring their own skate skis.
Included:
Crosscut day pass
Cost:
$75 for the first person, $50 for each additional person

Each lesson begins with a ~1km ski from the Nordic & Trails Center to the Biathlon Stadium and skiing will also take place between shooting bouts. For this reason, private biathlon lesson participants should be confident Nordic skiers (skate or classic) to get the most out of their lesson. If you are not a confident Nordic skier yet, consider a Biathlon Clinic or Private Ski Lesson.
Ages:
Adults 18 and up
Included in Private Biathlon Lesson:
Crosscut day pass
Cost:
$200 for the first person; $50 for each additional person (up to two)
