Rentals & Lessons at Crosscut
Come ski with us
Crosscut is the perfect place to learn to ski, to improve your skills, or to just drop in for a day on the trails. With a variety of skate and classic lessons for all abilities, plus affordable and high-quality gear for rent, it’s easy to get out on the trails with confidence. Please note, lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Walk-up rentals are welcome - save time by booking online before arrival.
Not sure which cross-country skiing style to choose?
If you're new to cross-country skiing, we suggest trying the classic skiing technique first as it is a more natural movement that’s easier to pick up than skate ski. If your goal is to go for a casual ski through the woods, the classic technique is a great place to start. Skate skiing requires more advanced technique and is a great activity to try if you’re looking to challenge yourself on snow.
Who are our instructors?
Crosscut’s ski instructors are a mix of current and former elite team members, accomplished skiers, and gifted, highly trained teachers.
You’re in good hands with every one of our instructors. Thanks to their patience, enthusiasm, and expertise, every lesson is the ideal balance of skills practice and fun for your individual goals! We welcome true beginners to advanced skiers. Whatever kind of instruction you’re seeking, Crosscut is here to make it happen.
